Our Plan

To achieve this vision, we created a sustainability plan organized by goals, indicators, and actions as illustrated below. Middlesex County is tracking progress toward each goal through a number of indicators that illuminate trends affecting our community. Additionally a number of actions have been developed to make progress toward these goals. Goals

These goals describe what we must accomplish to achieve our vision for a sustainable Middlesex County. All of the indicators and actions in this plan are organized around these goals.

Indicators

How are we doing? Indicators track current and historical conditions in Middlesex County, and enable us to track changes over time. They give us an easy snap shot of quality of life and sustainability in Middlesex County, and they tell us if our plan is succeeding, and if we are achieving our goals.

Actions

A variety of people and organizations have committed to take action to help Middlesex County achieve these goals. You can view these actions organized by each goal. And you can see what you can do to help. In addition, you can search and view the actions organized by who is implementing them. New actions will be added every year as we assess our progress using the indicators, recognize new challenges, and come up with new ideas.
